These roots date back to the 18th century when Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II founded the city, establishing it as a hub for gemstone processing and trading, drawing skilled craftsmen and jewelers. I am lucky enough to work with families who are stone cutting and setting experts with long traditions of family run businesses.
